What are the best night fishing baits. I like to use top water and vibrating cranks so that it makes the buzz in the water, but any tips would be appreciated.

slow worked triple blade spinnerbaits work well fished on a drop off but I have even better luck with a 10" black/firetail worm. Cast it about 3-4 feet from the bank, let it sit for a minute or two then twitch it. Got quiet a few in the 4-7lb range that way

The one in particular is just a flat that is 3-4ft deep. Not a lot of cover, some grass in spots muddy bottom with crayfish. I use a weighted gamakatsu hook and the worm is made by bass assasin. Its a floating worm. with that hook combo it looks like bait digging in the mud with the tail flapping. the ledge has a lot of cover (fallen timber) about 15ft. down. During the day I vertical jig a watermelon worm thru it and catch the 18-22" size bass.
