I am sure that your head is probably spinning after reading all the discussion on the different characteristics of rods and reels and what each size is best used for. In order to have a quick reference for our fellow enthusiasts, we have created the following table to clear up and questions;

Rod Action	LineTest	Reel Size	Lure Size (oz)	Type of Fishing
Ultra Light	2lb - 6lb	Mini System & Ultra Light	Less than 1/4	Used for light freshwater fish such as sun fish and trout.
Light	6lb - 10lb	Standard	1/8 to 1/2	This setup is perfect for small mouth and large mouth bass.
Medium	8lb - 12lb	Standard	1/4 to 5/8	Used for heavy fresh waterfish such as large mouth bass.
Medium Heavy	10lb - 15lb	Medium	1/2 to 1 1/2	Used for larger fish such as Striped Bass and Muskie.
